Marib police seizes weapons en route to Houthi militia

Military Police forces in Mareb, seized, on Monday, a shipment of smuggled weapons in a road linking capital Sana’a and Marib province.
Chief of Military Police branch in Mareb province, brigadier Naji Moneef told September Net that the weapons shipment was captured by the military police at a checkpoint while it was on the way to the Houthi-held capital Sana’a.
“The shipment contained thermal missiles, Rocket-propelled grenades and Kalashnikovs, in addition to Machine-guns and large amounts of different types of ammunitions”, brig. Moneef said.
He stressed that the military police personnel stationed in all sectors and security points are working around the o’clock to ensure security, stability and public tranquility in the province.
He also praised the high security vigilance of the police members in controlling violators of law and order, stressing they will hit with an iron fist whoever trys to destabilize peace and security.
