National Army makes incursion in Hodeidah, controls fresh sites

National Army forces have on Thursday liberated new new positions from the Houthi militia in the city of Hodeidah, west of country.

The national army troops have taken control over the building of Passport Department, Chief of operations of 2nd Brigade al-Amalikah, Ahmed Al-Jaheli told September Net.

Al-Jaheli added that the National Army forces were engaging in fierce battles against the coup militias, mainly in the area of City Max, near Al-Halakah market and around the camp of Defense Coastal Forces.

“The army’s brigades of al-Amalikah have made significant field progress in the direction of Al-Waha Tourist Complex, and have achieved breakthrough in several neighborhoods,” he said.

He also pointed that the rebel militias have dealt with painful blows, as its fortifications are falling apart.

“Houthi militia’s leaders and members feld and retreated to the city center, and they are now using civilians as human shields, after they the broke into people’s houses and posted its snipers on roofs,” Al-Jaheli explained.
