Vice president Lt. Gen. Ali Mohssen Saleh conducted a telephone call to the Commander of the First Military Region, Major General Saleh Taims, to follow the situation of the military units in the region.

In his telephone conversation, the Vice President praised the efforts exerted by army in establishing security and stability in the region.

He also referred to the directives of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to exert more efforts and maintain high security vigilance to foil the plans of terrorists.

For his part, Major General Saleh Taem briefed the Vice President on the latest security and military developments in the region, stressing that the troops is resolute to carry on their duties.
