The National Armed Forces have recaptured mountainous locations on Tuesday during an attack against the Houthi militia in Kitaf district of Saada province, north of the country.

The surprised attacked targeted the Houthi positions in Rashaha area in the warfront of Buqa, and led to the liberation of the Bahrat-Rayhan range of mountains.

Several Houthi rebels including snipers were killed and injured and a number of their combat vehicles were destroyed during the battle.

The army forces could also recover large mounts of heavy and medium weapons, besides different types of ammunition left behind by the militia who fled and retreated.
