More civilian casualties as Houthis violating Hodeida ceasefire

Number of civilian casualties in Hodeida province  has increased in the last days as Houthi militias continue  violating the UN-sponsored ceasefire deal on the province .

Six civilian persons sustained various injuries, some are critical ones, after the Houthi targeted them directly.

Medical and field sources told September Net that “two children and a woman were among the injured, who were urgently cured at the field hospitals of the National army in Khukha town”, south of Hodeida

Two civilians were also wounded after the militia opened gunfire at a wedding convoy. Two hours later, the militiamen targeted a husband and wife while riding motorcycle. The woman suffered critical burns.

According to documented information, obtained by September Net, Houthi snipers shot injured three other civilians, one in the head, in separated attacks, in the southern district of  Duraihemi.

Local sources said Thursday the militia deployed three military tanks in Zayed and Sana’a streets in the city. They also sent to their sites, in 7th July neighborhood, 8 combat  vehicles equipped with 8 machine guns and several militants on board.

The Yemeni armed forces recorded that the rebel militia fired 25 mortar shells on their sites north the city since last night.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Houthis have planted mines and explosive devices at the entrances of several residential villages and asphalt roads and along way to the district of Dahee.

Although the Iran-backed Houthi militia have been violating the UN- sponsored truce in the port city, the National Army have been calm and  committed to the ceasefire in the province
