Scores of Houthi militia killed, injured in Taiz

Fierce clashes between the national army forces and Iran-backed Houthi militia took place Thursday in the west of Taiz province, southwestern the country.

The battles erupted after the rebel militia attempted to infiltrate into army’s positions in Al-Dabab Front, but the army thwarted their attempt and forced them to flee after killing and injuring a number of their elements

In parallel, Houthi insurgents also suffered major human and material losses during battles in Jabal Habashi district, west of the province.
