Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najeeb al-Awej discussed with the Resident Representative of Food and Agricultural Organization in Aden Salah al-Haj on Tuesday the projects carried out by the organization, food security and 2019 response plan.

The two parties agreed on organizing workshop for reviewing activities made by the organization in 2018 and 2019 action plan.

Al-Awej confirmed significance of cooperation between the two parties and increasing development projects for creating work opportunities instead of dependence on limited relief aid.

He praised the organization’s role played in field of food security and enhancing survival in rural areas.

He showed readiness of the ministry of international cooperation for joint work and facilitating difficulties facing the organization’s activities.
