70% of taxpayers in Taiz in Militia controlled regions, says local official

Total sum of Taiz governorate’s taxes collected by official authority made up 3 billion, 275 million and 500 thousand Yemeni Rial (YR) in 2018.

Director of Taxes Office in the province Mohammed Othaman Assaba’i, said the aforementioned figure of taxes revenues were collected from hardly 30 % of taxpayers. “The remain 70% of taxpayers are still in the Houthi putschist militia controlled regions”, said Assaba’i.
