Deputy Health Minister, WFP official discuss cooperation
Deputy Ministry of Health for the Primary Care Sector, Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Waleedi and the World Food Program (WFP’s) head of nutrition section Christina Stein have discussed cooperation between the ministry and the WFP.
In a meeting on Wednesday, they discussed the WFP’s various interventions and the resumption of operating mobile medical clinics project in alignment with the Ministry’s needs.
Al-Waleedi called on the WFP to contribute to reducing the gap of support in Aden, growing now as a result of the increasing number of displaces who had escaped the Houthi crackdown.
He stressed the need for WFP contribution to retraining all nutrition coordinators in the country’s different districts and to work on a new strategy for nutrition programs.
