Houthi militia shelled on Friday the Red Sea Mills and Grain Mills in Hodeida City by mortars resulting in destroying one of the mills and huge fire burning wheat reserve, which will double suffering of the Yemeni people.

Efforts are continuing for putting down the fire and repairing damages, said a military source, who pointed out that Houthi targeting of the Red Sea Mills aimed at banning a UN mission’s visit to the mills and hindering distribution of relief materials to Sana’a and the coastal areas.

He added that Houthi militias reject to open safe roads and demining for facilitating handover of relief and aid.
