Yemeni Minister of Planning and the Chinese Deputy Ambassador to our country have signed a deal of economic and technical cooperation on Wednesday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Under the agreement China will provide Yemen with a grant worth 60 million Chinese Yuan to carry out development projects and humanitarian activities.

Minister of Planning Dr. Najeeb Al-Aweg expressed Yemeni Government’s appreciation for the Government of the People’s Republic of China for its support for the Yemeni peoples in different fields.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat reiterated the Chinese government’s commitment to continue supporting Yemen in different domains
