Houthi militias kill, injure 541 civilians since the start of the ceasefire deal
Iran-backed Houthi militias have killed 72 civilians and wounded 541 others in Hodeidah province.
The Yemeni News Agency (Saba) quoted a military source as saying the Houthi militias have breached the Hodeida cease-fire agreement 1062 times since its start on December 18 , 2018 till February 6, 2019.
The Houthi rebels militias are continuing escalation, previously they attacked the UN team in charge of overseeing the implementation of the Redeployment provision of the Stockholm Agreement.
“In the past few hours the militias shelled the mills which the UN uses as wheat stores, a categorical disregard for the international community.”
The source called upon the office of the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy to take the necessary steps to pressure the militia to stop these acts immediately and observe the UN-brokered Agreement concerning (withdrawal from) Hodeidah city.”
