Rights report: Houthis kill 85 civilians, injure 60 in Taiz last month
Houthi militia killed 85 civilians- including women and children- and injured 60 others in Taiz city during last January.
According to Training and Information Center for Human Rights (TICHR), Houthi militia made 135 human right violations in January 2019, incurring the said casualties.
The TICHR detailed that its monitors documented the killing of 23 civilians- 5 women and 7 children-, two women killed by sniper shootings, and 60 other persons were killed by mines and explosives of the Houthi putschist militia within the same period.
“Six women and 11 children are among the 66 injured, who were all hit by the militia’s shelling, sniper attacks, landmines and explosive devices,” the report said.
Houthi militia invaded Taiz city in 2015, and has ever since been besieging the population and targeting them with all type of heavy weapons and snipers attacks in daily basis.
