President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has met on Tuesday with the ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Yemen Salem al-Ghafeeli in Riyadh.

President Hadi praised the depth of relations between Yemen and the United Arab Emirates saying they are based on the principles of brotherhood and shared destiny.

Hadi spoke highly of the Emirati sacrifices in helping Yemen battle the coup and rebellion of the Iran aligned Houthi militia.

“The sincere stances of and brotherly ties with (the UAE) will remain in the memory of the Yemeni people forever,” said Hadi, asking the ambassador to convey his regards to the Emirati leaders.
