Chairman of National Committee for investigation into allegations of human rights abuses Judge Ahmed al-Maflahi said the Committee has managed to document 9829 incidents of violations against 20 thousand and 907 of the victims and investigated 4 thousand and 517 incidents categorized into 20 types of abuses.

His statement came as he contributed on Thursday to a seminar the committee held in the temporary capital Aden.

The discussions focused on the prosecution of the perpetrators of human rights violations.

A number of judges, prosecutors, activists, lawyers and media men and women engaged in the deliberations.

Deputy Minister of Human Rights Dr Samear Asheibani contributed to the discussions.
