Al-Hadrami meets Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs in Munich

Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Abdullah Al-Hadrami met on Friday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Yousuf bin Alawi  on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference 2019.

During the meeting, Al-Hadrami reviewed the political and field developments in Yemen, stressing that the government is committed to reach peace on the basis of the terms of references which include the GCC Deal, the National Dialogue Conference and the UN resolution 2216.

Al-Hadrami pointed to the continued stubbornness of the Houthi militia to implement the Sweden agreement on Hodeidah and its seaport . He called on the Sultanate and the international community to pressure the Houthi coupists to implement what has been agreed upon.

For his part, the Omani minister stressed his country’s keenness to support Yemen in order to reach a lasting peace, praising the relations between the two countries.
