HR Ministry denounces Houthi death sentence against a Yemeni female

The Ministry of Human Rights condemned the death sentence against Yemeni citizen Asma al-Aumisi by the Houthi terrorist group.
In a statement, the ministry warned of the consequences of implementing the sentence issued by a district that has become a tool used by the Houthi militias to violate the rights of citizens and rob their properties.
The Ministry called the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths to immediately intervene and halt the death sentence.
Al-Aumisi was first forcibly disappeared and detained in a solitary confinement for several months. During this period, she was mistreated and dehumanized. She was also secretly moved from one facility to the other.
Al-Aumisi was also extorted for money, subjected to continuous humiliation and extreme physical abuse, and denied basic rights including legal counsel and family visits.”
