A Seminar about Houthi enforced disappearances and mines held in Geneva

The Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations organized a seminar in Geneva on Tuesday on enforced disappearances and landmine planting by the Houthi militia in Yemen.
Addressing the seminar, activist Basem Al-Absi said the enforced disappearances amounted to 3544 in a number of governorates. .
According to the Coalition’s statistics, the number of arrests, abductions and detentions amounted to 16565.
The Houthi militia was on the top of human rights abusers in the period from September 2014 to December 2018.
