Deputy Minister of Human Rights Dr. Samir Sheibani discussed on Sunday with the Officer of Child Protection at UNICEF’s Office in Yemen Joli Jeel the joint cooperation in the field of protecting children and means of protecting Yemeni children against violations.

Deputy Minister Sheibani reviewed the efforts of the Yemeni government to protect children from the effects of the war, praising the great role played by UNICEF in this regard.

He confirmed the ministry’s readiness to facilitate the organizations’ activities in the temporary capital of Aden.

For her part, the UNICEF official stressed the need for concerted efforts of all for protecting children against violations over the war triggered by Houthi militias in Yemen.
