Judiciary Council sacks rebel appointed members in higher election committee

The Supreme Judiciary Council has sacked the Houthi appointed “members of the Higher Committee for Elections and Referendum” for accepting an illegal nomination from a rebel group. The Council also filed a lawsuit against them to its Accountability arm.
In the same (routine) session, the Council considered a proposal by the Judicial Inspection Authority to fill vacant position in the Appeal Court and primary courts of Taiz.
