It is funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in coordination with the local authorities of Hodeida and Lahij.

First Deputy Governor of Hodeida Waleed Al-Kudaimi said the second phase of the project will provide aid shelters and livelihoods to 210 families who were displaced from Hodeidah to Lahjj.

He noted that UNHCR had earlier established two camps: one in Moshaqafah area covering 350 displaced families, and the other in Sabra for 145 displaced families from Hodeidah.
