Houthi sniper shots young girl in Taiz

A 18-year- young girl was seriously injured on Sunday after she was shot by a Houthi militia sniper while on her way home in the southwestern province of Taiz.

Local sources told September Net that the Iran-backed Houthi militia snipers stationed at hilly position north of the city, fired on the girl Taima Saleh Bin Saleh while coming back home in the west of Taiz.

The victim was taken to the hospital and she is in life-threatening condition, said the sources.

Houthi militia has killed hundreds of unarmed civilians in Taiz by sniper shootings alone since they invaded and started besieging the city four years ago.
