Houthi massacres: Civilian toll rises in Hodeida

At least 16 civilians have been killed and injured by Houthi militia in the past two days in the western province of Hodeida.

Medical sources told September Net that a Houthi sniper shot dead a civilian on Airport Street.

Three more women were killed and two persons were seriously wounded by a mortar shell fire by Houthi militia at Al-Rasba roundabout, sources added.

More nine unarmed civilians most of them women were wounded and a little girl was killed due to hysterical shelling by Houthi militia on Al-Rabsa neighborhood last Monday.

The shelling also destroyed inhabited houses fully and traumatized women and children.

All civilian deaths and injuries occurred in the eastern parts of Hodeida, where Houthi militia is still shelling civilians and houses on daily basis indiscriminately.

Civilians in the port city of Hodeida are being attacked by Houthi militia with shelling and sniper shootings and hidden explosive devices.

Houthi crimes coincide a UN-led truce to cease fire in the city, but the rebel militia has been breaking it since it went into force last December.
