Houthi militia aggravates Yemeni people tragedy, Al-Iryani says

Minister of Information Muammar Al-Iryani during a meeting in Berlin on Wednesday with Director General of the German Berghof Organization Dr. Hans Gleesman, affirmed that, the Houthi militias have aggravate the tragedy of the Yemeni people, which have reached catastrophic levels since the beginning of the coup.

The minister expressed government’s appreciation to efforts exerted by the Organization for making the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) Successful, hoping more efforts in supporting peace process on the bases of three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the  (NDC)  and the UN Resolution 2216.

Al-Iryani pointed to efforts exerted by the government for normalizing conditions in liberated provinces, stop deterioration of the price of the national currency and working on providing basic services with support of the Saudi-led Coalition, demanding international support to Yemen for regaining the state and ending Houthi coup.

For his part, Gleesman stressed that the German Berghof  Organization works to support the peace tracks in a number of regions of the world, including Yemen, and that one of the main objectives of the foundation is to create a single path of peace and to ensure the continuity of its programs  to help communities after achieving peace, according to the convictions of the communities themselves and without any interference.

He also talked about the programs implemented by the foundation in Yemen through its local partners, stressing that the foundation will open its office in the temporary capital of Aden during the coming period.
