AMA calls UNHR & ICRC to held their responsibilities towards Abductees in Houthi prisons
The Abductees’ Mothers Association has demanded the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to held their responsibilities towards abductees in the Houthi militia prisons.
In a protest arranged Thursday in the capital Sana’a, the Association appealed the human rights organizations to stand with their abductees sons and work to end their suffering in prisons run by the coup militia.
AMA said in a statement that the abductees held inside the Political Security prison in the capital Sana’a are subjected to physical and psychological torture.
AMA revealed also that militia prison administration deprived the abductees from being visited by their families. The Houthi militia has also been depriving abductees from food, medicine, clothes, blankets..
AMA confirmed that mothers and their abductees sons have been subjected to humiliation by the Houthi militia Commander “Yahya Sraea” and other supervisors, who tortured the abductees in brutal ways and blackmailed their families.
