Aid organizations begin anti-cholera campaign in Taiz

Aid organizations in Yemen’s central Taiz have begun a campaign of treating people infected with cholera as the epidemic continues to accelerates there.
Yanabee al-Khayr, a local organization, with financing from the Kuwaiti Annajat charity afforded the necessary medicines for 120 persons receiving treatment for cholera .
The organizations are planning on a second phase for sterilizing water wells, the main source of infections.
Years of a strangling siege by the Houthi militia around Taiz, have crippled the city’s health system and led to prevalence of different diseases.
