King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced that its demining project ‘MASAM’ has removed 1229 landmines in the fourth week of March.
These landmines were planted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in different Yemeni regions.
KSrelief said the explosives included 28 anti-individual, 738 anti-tanks landmines and 484 unexploded ammunitions and 15 explosive devices.
Since its establishment MASAM has already demined 52777 mines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.
