Prime Minister stresses importance of cooperation between government, and Central Bank

Prime Minister Dr. Ma’een Abdulmalik on Saturday headed a meeting  in the interim capital Aden with Yemen’s central bank’s governor, deputy Minister of Industry and Trade and other government officials and businesspersons and investors.

During the meeting, the prime minister stressed the importance of cooperation between the government, Central Bank of Yemen and traders to establish a mechanism for controlling the prices of commodities and ensuring the access of all Yemeni people to food.

Dr. Ma’een appreciated the of Saudi Arabia’s $ 2 million deposit  in establishing a strong financial position that contributes to saving the national economy, providing food security and enabling state institutions to carry out their national and humanitarian duties.
