The Social Fund for Development (SFD) and a local Committee of Beneficiaries in eastern Yemen’s Shabwa province signed a water project pact on Sunday.

Under the pact the SFD will provide $400,000 finance to implement water project planned to meet the needs of the local communities of Alkrebiya, Mass and Aljabia in Shabwa’s provincial capital Ataq.

The project will consist of a water tank and distribution network.
