More than 2000 families displaced from Al-Dhale over Houthi war

At least 2,000 families from the districts of Awd and Murais in Al-Dhale province have been displaced during March 23 – April 10, 2019 due to Houthi militia’s war on the area, according to a report by the Executive Management of Displaced Camps in Al-Dhale.
The report mentioned that the humanitarian situation in those areas witnesses huge deterioration over Houthi militia’s violations in northern and western villages of Murais and Awd i district.
According to the report, at least 3444 families from Damt district in AL-Dhale and from Hodeidah and Taiz provinces have been displaced to Qa’atabah district in al-Dhale in 2018.
The report mentioned that eight schools have been shut down and 2000 children were forced to leave their schools over the displacement.
The Management of the Camps demanded international organizations to quickly support the displaced people and reopening hospitals and medical centers.
