Planning Minister, World Bank official discuss the bank’s policy in Yemen

Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and the World Bank’s Manager in Yemen Raja Kattan discussed on Saturday in Washington the bank’s engagement policy in Yemen.

The Minister Al-Awj pointed out that the bank’s policy is near to the Yemeni government’s priorities in the field of emergency response, health, education, urban services and solar energy.

He also highlighted the need for a visit of WB officials to Yemen and re-opening the bank’s office in the temporary capital Aden.
