90 Houthi militants including field commanders were killed and injured Tuesday as they tried to attack national army sites in Hamek Front west of Al-Dhale province.

The coup militia tried to block the public road in the Souk Al-Khamis, south of Al-Naderh district, west of Hamek Front.

The national army forces thwarted the militia’s attempts and forced them to retreat and flee.

The clashes resulted in the killing of 70 militiamen and injuring of 20 others.

Several military vehicles belonging to the insurgents were also destroyed.
