NDP: Over 73 victims of mines in Lahj province,

More than 73 civilians have been killed and injured due landmines left by Houthi militia in the southern province of Lahj.

General Coordinator of the National Demining Program(NDP) said the civilian toll was reported from 6 districts of Lahj.

Ali Al-Sha’er added that “9 civilians were killed and 64 were critically injured, some of whom lost some their upper and lower parts.”

He explained that the figures were collected within the second stage of a 45-day-raising-awareness campaign on the dangers of landmines and war remnants in the 6 districts of the province.
