Partners of Relief and Development Coalition (PRDC) distributed on Monday food baskets to 1500 displaced and war-affected families in Marib province, eastern the country.

Funded by Turkish charity associations, the relief aid targeted families living in six scattered IDP camps in the province.

“It’s part of our projects which primarily aims to help relieve the suffering of internally displaced persons and war-affected people، especially as we approach the holy month of Ramadan,” said Lutf Ghubari, the PRDC’s coordinator.

More than 2 million displaced persons have arrived in Marib city from various Houthi militia-held regions, where life has been unbearable. Now they live in multiple IDP camps across the province.
