Five girls were killed and injured Thursday when Houthi militia shelled residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz southwestern of the country.
Several mortar shells fired by Houthi militia fell at civilian house near Alhajre School, killing two girls and seriously injuring three others, medical sources told September Net.
The Iranian-backed Houthi militias are systematically target the civilian areas in Taiz, with mortar shells and bullets, in flagrant violation of international laws and customs, causing civilian casualties, the majority of whom are women and children.
