The Kuwait Red Crescent Society announced on Thursday that three truckloads of various relief aid items including food items had arrived in Yemen through Saudi territory as part of a series of initiatives by the Society to provide aid to Yemen.
The director of Disaster and Emergency Department at the Society, Yousef Al-Mi’araj, said that this shipment will be distributed in cooperation with the humanitarian response network including volunteers.
Al-Mi’araj added that the humanitarian aid will be distributed to beneficiaries in Marib, Wadi Hadramout, Al-Jawf, Shabwa, Hajjah and Al-Mahweet provinces.
He said the aid reflects Kuwait’s keenness to alleviate the suffering of the Yemenis displaced and otherwise affected by the conflict in Yemen.
