Army retakes control over strategic sites in Sa’ada

National army liberated on Monday new strategic sites from the control of Houthi militia in the northern province of Sa’ada.

The army forces backed by Arab coalition forces launched wide military operation against Houthi militia stationed in the district of al-Safra. The army managed to liberate the area of Gasha’a and other sites in the said district.

The military engineering teams continue clearing the liberated sites from mines and explosive devices planted by Houthi militia.

A number of Houthi rebels were killed and injured and also several of their combat vehicles were destroyed during the battles.
