The Houthi militia have been worsening the humanitarian suffering in the parts of Yemen under their control to gain politically; manipulate the earned international sympathy for the created crisis.

Economic observers and activists said the recent Houthi rebels attack on Dhale’a a province a midpoint between north Yemen and south Yemen is meant to stop food and fuel laden trucks coming from the government-held port in the south from crossing to their held north.

The activists said the militia has meanwhile been maintaining a crisis of oil products in the capital Sana’a and other cities.

The militia have also been planting landmines and explosive devices in highways and detonating vital bridges that food goods laden trucks use.

The Higher Committee for Relief Aid said the militia has been preventing food laden trucks from delivering these goods to Nehm and Mureis areas, where there are large numbers of population including IDPs.
