National army retakes control over strategic mountains in Sa’ada

National army forces liberated on Saturday strategic positions in the east of Sa’ada province.

The army forces retook control over the mountain range of Samr and Thiba in al-Hashwah district after fierce battles against Houthi coup militia.

Meanwhile, the army continued its rapid ground advance in the said district, amid large collapses in the ranks of the coup militia.

The Army was able to secure a number of sites where the militia was stationed in the same district.

The battles resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries among the Houthi militia.
