In a flagrant violation of UN-sponsored ceasefire agreement, Houthi coup militia continued shelling army’s positions and residential neighborhoods in Hodeidah province on Monday.

The national army forces managed to repel an attack carried out by Houthi militia in the area of al-Jabaleya in Hais district northeastern Hodiedah.

The Houthi rebels were forced to retreat after inflicted heavy casualties in lives and supplies.

In parallel, the rebel militia launched today heavy shelling on populated areas in Hais district, injuring a one woman and damaging civilians’ houses.

A number of civilians were also injured due to the militia’s shelling on the area of al-Jabaleya in the said district.

The Iran-backed Houthi militia has been violating the ceasefire deal in Hodiedah since its start in December.
