Israeli forces Monday overnight detained 11 Palestinians from various parts of the West Bank, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS confirmed in a statement that Israeli forces detained five Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Tulkarm.

PPS said that three Palestinians were detained from Jerusalem district.

Elaborating on the Jerusalem raids, security sources said that Israeli police detained two Palestinians from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya.

They added that another was assaulted and detained after he attended the Taraweeh prayer on the first night of Ramdan month inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
