Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman and UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths discussed latest peace developments in Yemen and the implementation of Stockholm Agreement.

During the meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday, Prince Khalid stressed the Kingdom’s support to UN efforts to reach a political solution in Yemen.

The two sides also touched upon the actions of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia to foil peace efforts in Yemen.

Bin Salman renewed the Kingdom’s firm stance towards supporting Yemen and its people, and its efforts and commitment to support the legitimacy of Yemen to ensure the return of security and stability to Yemen and to maintain its sovereignty and unity, according to the Saudi Press Agency ( SPA).

The UN special envoy praised in this regard the outstanding humanitarian support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its constant keenness on delivering humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people.
