MASAM removes 1024 Houthi-laid mines in the 2nd week of May

KSrelief Center’s Demining Project in Yemen “MASAM” announced on Sunday that it field teams managed to remove 1024 landmines and explosive devices during the second week of May.
These landmines were planted by the Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions, Director General of ‘MASAM’ project Osama Al-Kusaibi said.
He said the explosives included 27 anti-individual, 210 anti-tanks landmines and 718 unexploded ammunitions and 6 explosive devices.
Since its establishment MASAM has already demined 70539 mines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.
