At least 40 elements in the Houthi militia were killed on Sunday during clashes with army forces in the north of the southern Yemeni province Al-Dhale.

The clashes broke out today’s morning in several areas in the north and south of Qutobah district.

The artillery forces of the national army shelled positions of Houthi coup militia in the areas of Hamran al-Sadah, Dar al-Sakmah and Ma’azoup Amer in the west and north of Qutobah.

At least 40 Houthi insurgents including leaders were killed and more injured during the battles.

Five combat vehicles including a tank belonging to the militia were also destroyed.

Eyewitnesses told September Net ” 20 dead bodies of militia elements arrived on three patrols to the city of Damt.”
