National army captured a senior leader of the Houthi militia on Sunday in A-Dhale province.

The so-called rebel leader Abdulrahman Al-Masa’di, whose nickname is “Abu Fayadh”, was arrested by the army forces and popular resistance in the west of Al-Azariq district, our reporter in the province affirmed.

In the context, heavy fighting is ongoing between the army and the militia in Hajr front, west of Qataba district. The army forces defeated an infiltration attempt towards Baja area, which has been fully liberated and secured, forcing Houthi militia to flee and retreat after inflicting deaths and injuries in its ranks.

The national army forces are now fighting fierce battles against the militia in areas closes to AlJab region of Qatabah district, where the army has received large reinforcements to strengthen its positions and secure the recently liberated areas from the rebel militia.
