Yemen contributes to 18th Environmental Ministerial meeting in Jeddah

Yemen participated in the 18th Environmental Ministerial meeting of the Regional Commission for Preservation of Marine Environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
The meeting took place in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Minister of Water and Environment Dr Azi-Shoreim contributed to the discussions and touched upon the pollution of marine ecosystem, citing marine mines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia as one of the most dangerous threats to marine environment.
