National army  succeeded on Friday to retake control of new positions in Hashwa district in Sa’ada province, in a continuous military operation against the Houthi militia.

The national army forces controlled the mountains of Cairo and the surrounding hilltops and also imposed siege on the mountain of al-Kanasseen.

The violent clashes resulted in the killing and wounding of several Houthi militants and destroying a number of their combat vehicles.
