National army troops made new ground progress on Saturday after fierce attack against Houthi militia’s positions in the north of Taiz province.

The army troops regained control over the station of Al-Johaim and the surrounding building from the grip of Houthi coup militia.

At least 16 Houthi militants were killed and tens other wounded while the rest forced to flee.

Moreover, the army artillery shelled sites and barracks of Houthi rebels in the same area, causing heavy destruction.
