Marib security seizes two hashish cargos on way to Houthi militia

Marib security on Monday seized two new hashish shipments on its way to the capital Sana’a, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
A security source told September Net that a shipment of 43 kg Hashish carefully concealed in the backward and side doors of a car was seized by Special Security Forces in Al-Joba region.
The source said that during the car inspection the driver attempted to flee but security members shot at the wheels and he left the car and now security is looking for him the village where he disappeared.
In another separate incident, the special security forces at one of its checkpoints in Qania captured shipment of cannabis on Prado car the gangsters tried also to smuggle to the capital Sana’a, the same source confirmed.
Last Wednesday, security forces seized a shipment of 125 kilograms of hashish in Hareb Axis, which the gang attempted to smuggle aboard car to the capital Sana’a.
The Houthi militia’s smuggling gangs are active these days, taking advantage of the situation in the holy month of Ramadan and the rainy weather in the region for several days.
In the past months, security agencies in Marib province have thwarted several attempts to smuggle cannabis and drugs on their way to the Houthi militia in Sanaa.
