The national army forces made qualitative progress on Thursday in Taiz province.

The army troops liberated the hilltops of al-Kambateen and Hameed Ali Abdu and also the electricity station in al-Hashamah area northern Taiz city after fierce battles against Houthi coup militia.

The army forces also managed to regain control over the hilltops of al-Shaybani in 5^th street western Taiz.

Tens of Houthi rebels were killed and injured and several others were captured.

The army were able to capture large quantity of multiple weapons and ammunitions.
